Materials & Craft
| Thickness | Feel | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 5mm | Standard, light | Budget builds, careful hands |
| 7mm | Heavy duty | Daily drivers, shared pieces |
| 9mm | Tank grade | Clumsy friends, long lifetimes |
All glass pieces are borosilicate — the same lab-grade glass that shrugs off thermal shock. Percolators add diffusion: more bubbles, cooler and smoother pulls, a little more cleaning.
| Item | Method | Care |
|---|---|---|
| Apparel | Printed on demand, per order | Wash cold, inside out; hang dry |
| Gear — standard | Molded / printed finish | Wipe clean; keep dry |
| Gear — premium | Anodized metal / hardwood | Oil wood yearly; metal is dishwasher-safe |
| Glass | Hand-finished, etched to order | Isopropyl + coarse salt; rinse warm |
Nothing is printed, poured, or etched until an order exists. That is the whole ghost model: zero dead stock, zero landfill drops.
How It Works
You build it here — piece, colorway, options, etch. The price you see is the price math we honor.
At launch, every custom design gets a human proof check before production. Etch text and placement are confirmed by email.
Your piece is produced per order by a vetted maker — glass finished and etched, apparel printed, gear assembled.
Production runs about 3–5 business days for apparel and gear, 5–10 for custom glass. Tracking lands in your inbox automatically.
Studio FAQ
No. Saved designs live in this browser's local storage only. Use Copy Summary or Download Spec to keep a copy you can share or send us at order time.
More material, more breakage risk in production, and bigger packaging. The studio charges a flat $0.50 per centimeter over 30 cm — the same rule for every tall glass piece.
Up to 14 characters. Names, initials, and short words etch best. At proof time we will flag anything that will not etch cleanly — and anything unlawful or hateful does not get made.
Checkout opens with the Ghost Marketplace launch. Until then this studio is a full design demo: no payment is taken here, ever. Join the drop list on the contact page to hear first.
Glass ships insured and padded like it owes us money. Breakage in transit gets replaced or refunded under the Marketplace terms that will be posted at launch — and the owner reads the support inbox personally.
All three run in your browser. The 3D viewer (Three.js) rebuilds your design as a real-time model. AR exports that model so your phone can place it on a real shelf — it needs the live hosted site. The VR showroom (A-Frame/WebXR) is a walk-around space; on a headset, enter VR from inside the scene.
Your piece does not exist until you order it. Production starts at checkout — that is why custom lead times exist — and it is also why nothing here is ever out of stock, overstocked, or landfilled.
Most of the Gear Lab: grinders, trays, jars, dugouts, ashtrays, rolling machines, and stands. The Print Lab section above estimates weight, time, and price for each before you commit.
The house loyalty currency from the GanjaGalaxy side of the platform. At launch, every dollar of build total earns 10 Budz toward member perks. The studio already counts them on your build summary.
The No-Inventory Engine
This store never buys a product before a customer does. There is no inventory system because there is no inventory — every order triggers automatic procurement: a vetted maker produces the piece, or a supplier dropships it, straight to the buyer. Watch the engine breathe:
One click fires a simulated order. The engine matches a maker, books production, procures any bought-in parts, and issues tracking — without touching a shelf, because there are no shelves.
| Catalog entry | Source | Lead time |
|---|---|---|
| Custom glass | Maker bench | 5–10 days |
| Apparel | Print-on-demand partner | 3–5 days |
| Printed gear | Print Lab partner | 2–4 days |
| Grow hardware | Supplier dropship | 2–6 days |
A catalog entry is a promise plus a pipeline, not a box on a shelf. If a maker goes dark, the entry reroutes — the customer never sees the scramble.
Ghost Pipeline
Checkout fires a production order containing the full build spec — piece, colorway, finish, etch, everything on this page.
The engine picks the maker or supplier by rules: capability, current lead time, defect rate, shipping zone. No human touches it.
Custom work is produced per order; stock goods are dropshipped by the supplier under our label. Either way, we never held it.
Carrier tracking flows back to the customer automatically; the maker uploads a photo proof before the box seals.
| If this happens | The engine does this |
|---|---|
| Maker lead time passes 7 days | Reroute new orders to the backup maker |
| Defect rate crosses 2% | Pause the maker, flag for human review |
| Supplier price rises over 8% | Re-price the catalog entry or swap supplier |
| Tracking stalls 72 hours | Auto-message the customer before they ask |
| Design sells 50+ units | Pitch bulk blank pricing — still zero finished stock |

Pro Care
Warm water only. Never boiling water on cold glass — thermal shock cracks more pieces than drops do.
Isopropyl and coarse salt in, holes capped. The salt is the scrubber, the iso is the solvent.
Sixty seconds of shaking; stubborn spots soak twenty minutes. Pipe cleaners chase the percolator arms.
Rinse until the water runs clear and quiet. A weekly light clean beats a monthly deep rescue, every time.
Interactive 3D
A live 3D model of your piece, generated in the browser with Three.js. Load your current studio design into it — colorway, accent, finish, and height carry over — then orbit it, zoom in, and inspect it like it is already on your shelf.
Drag to orbit · scroll to zoom · right-drag to pan. The viewer loads Three.js from a CDN, so it needs an internet connection; the rest of this page works fully offline.
AR / VR
Build an AR model straight from your current design, then tap the AR button on the viewer to place it on your actual shelf at real scale. AR needs this page hosted on the live site (HTTPS) and a phone that supports AR.
No model yet — design something up top, then build it here.
Step into the studio showroom with A-Frame / WebXR. On a headset, use the VR button in the scene; on desktop, drag to look around. The pedestal piece wears your current colorway.
The VR scene loads A-Frame from a CDN (internet required) and builds itself when this section scrolls into view.
3D Print On Demand
Half the Gear Lab can be printed instead of stocked: grinders, trays, jars, dugouts, ashtrays, rolling machines, and custom stands. Estimate a print right here — material, infill, weight, time, and price, computed live.
More infill = heavier, stronger, slower. 40% is the sweet spot for gear.
Pick a piece and the numbers build themselves.
1 · Your design file slices automatically at order time. 2 · The nearest print partner with your material gets the job. 3 · Print, cure, quality-check against the spec. 4 · Ships in recycled packaging with tracking — the file is the inventory.
| Material | Strength | Best for | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| PLA | Good | Trays, stands, dugouts | Keep out of hot cars |
| PETG | High | Grinders, jars, ashtrays | The workhorse upgrade |
| Hemp-fill PLA | Good | Anything — the house signature | Visible plant fiber, matte feel |
| Resin | Detail-grade | Etched-look texture, minis | Fully cured and sealed before shipping |
