Cannabis Education
Cannabis education starts with facts, not slogans. This page gives beginners a clear picture of the plant, its compounds, and its history, plus where to learn more on this site.
The plant and its compounds
Cannabis produces cannabinoids, such as CBD and THC, and aromatic terpenes, such as myrcene and limonene. Cannabinoids interact with the body endocannabinoid system, while terpenes shape aroma and character. The cannabinoids and terpenes pages explain each group in plain language.
A short, honest history
Cannabis has been grown for fiber, seed, and medicine for thousands of years, then restricted for most of the twentieth century, then partly legalized again as hemp in recent years. That history explains why rules, language, and research are still catching up, and why you should check current law rather than assume old rules still apply.
Learning without hype
Good cannabis education separates what is proven, what is plausible, and what is marketing. Be skeptical of miracle claims, look for lab data and sources, and use the glossary whenever a term is unfamiliar. The blog and courses go deeper on every topic here.
